Project Description:
The City is proposing the construction of a Recreation Center for Princeton residents. The proposed recreation center would be located at the intersection of Monte Carlo Boulevard and North Beauchamp Boulevard and is estimated to cost $20 million. This includes both design and construction of the building and surrounding surface parking. The recreation center would be approximately 25,000 square feet and could feature a large, 8,000 sq. ft. gym, locker facilities, two racquetball courts, space for group exercises, and a childcare area. Additionally, this recreation center would obtain 6,000 sq. ft. of meeting rooms for the community’s use. If approved the building space planning would begin and the final amenity list determined with public input.
